Using an exclusive blend of waxes, oils and tallows, we hot stuff these leathers to bring out their inherent beauty. Through a traditional process called jack glazing, oils are brought to the surface to create a glossy finish that never masks the leather’s natural grain. As a result, the Traditional Harness is ideal for equestrian gear, yet, when split to a lower weight, it's equally suitable for leather goods.
- U.S. native steer hides are tanned with greases and tallows
- The top side has a lustrous finish and the back side has a smooth waxy feel
- Longview Leather has these custom split to 2/3 Oz. with a refinished back

This leather is sold by the square foot. Prices shown are based on the average size of the leather multiplied by the price per square foot. When you place an order for this product, the price shown in your shopping cart is a cost approximation based on the average size of the leather you selected, multiplied by the price per square foot. After your leather has been picked, this cost approximation will be adjusted to reflect the actual size (as measured and marked on the piece by the tannery), multiplied by the price per square foot. Transactions are manually processed when the order is ready to ship.
